More than 8,000 people and 1,300 volunteers took part in the 20th Annual AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run in Piedmont Park on Oct. 17. Organizers hope it raises $900,000 for 10 benefitting agencies, including AID Atlanta, which stages the event.
