Organizers of Joining Hearts, the 23-year-old non-profit that hosts its signature event of the same name each summer, thanked its sponsors, patrons and volunteers during a reception on July 18 in Castleberry Hill. The organization has donated more than $1 million to HIV charities since its inception.
