Monday: LeBron James’ mass of muscle

We like our jocks big and muscular. A little ink doesn’t hurt, either.

So forgive us if we’re swooning over LeBron James and his little vacay in Atlanta while on the way to the NBA Finals next month. The 6-foot-8-inch, 250 pound mass of muscle is in town for a couple of days as his Cleveland Cavaliers dismantle the Atlanta Hawks in the second round playoff series.

Game Four is tonight at Philips Arena and the Hawks are likely to fall by the wayside as the team with the best record in the NBA rolls on.

James, who packs more muscle on his frame than you might expect possible, spent his Saturday night—after dropping the Hawks like a bad second date—in Midtown. Yes, that Midtown. He and about 800 people took over Trois for an after-game party.

Yes, that Trois. The one that hosts the weekly Thursday Night Cocktail and the monthly meeting of the gay Atlanta Executive Network.

The AJC’s Jeff Schultz picked up on the party in a Saturday column in the paper. And at least one reader picked up on the Midtown gay factor in his comments:

Midtown is known for some of the better gay bars in Atlanta. Perhaps Lebron will find his way to one tonight and get violated enough where he is worn out for Game 4.

Hey! It could happen.

LeBron in a gay bar? Won’t happen, but it is kinda nice to think how that might play out. Did we mention that he’s a 6-foot-8-inch, 250 pound mass of muscle and 24?
